The World Wide Technology Championship was one of the final PGA Tour events of the season, with just the Butterfield Bermuda Championship and the RSM Classic to come.
Like the other FedEx Cup Fall events, the El Cardonal at Diamante tournament offered the chance for some of the PGA Tour's lesser lights to shine, with opportunities including boosting their chances of retaining their PGA Tour cards for the 2026 season on the line.
However, it was one of the PGA Tour's breakout stars of 2025, Ben Griffin, who took the honors, finishing two shots ahead of Chad Ramey and Sami Valimaki for his third title of the season.
That puts him in illustrious company, with Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler the only other players to claim three or more PGA Tour wins this season.
As well as further enhancing Griffin's reputation as one of the game's best emerging players, the title also handed him earnings of $1.08m from the total purse of $6m.
As for Ramey and Valimaki, their reward is $534,000 each, as well as 244.508 FedEx Cup points apiece.

At this stage of the season, the points will arguably be more important than the money to the players, and the haul means that both stars are now inside the all-important top 100 of the FedEx Cup standings.
If they remain there after the next two tournaments, they will have their PGA Tour cards for the 2026 season.
