Belfast boxer Sean McComb has thrown his weight behind World Suicide Prevention Day.
The 27-year-old is a proud ambassador for the Suicide Awareness and Support Group.
Sean is currently in Scotland training for his next fight against Emiliano Dominguez Rodriguez on October 11 at the Ulster Hall.
But he took time out of his schedule to send a special video message of support to anyone struggling with their mental health.
"I just want to put a wee message out there, seeing it is Suicide Prevention Day. It is something everyone has suffered from. A family member or a friend, or some sort of loved one," he said.
"It is something we can all relate to."
"Especially in Belfast over recent years, it is crazy how often it happens."
Sean also urged anyone in need to use the vital Lifeline service (0808 808 8000).
Lifeline is the Northern Ireland crisis response helpline for people who are experiencing distress or despair.
Sean added: "If you are suffering from any sort of stress and just feeling down and unworthy, it would be worth giving Lifeline a call.
"Or if you know someone who is down you can also call Lifeline to see how to handle the situation."
