There’s nothing like a Game 7 in a championship series, but ticket prices for Tuesday’s World Series Game 7 at Minute Maid Park tumbled after the home team lost Game 6 with a chance to close out the series.
According to Vivid Seats, the average ticket price for Game 7 was $840, making Nationals-Astros one of the cheapest recent Game 7s in any major sport, per ESPN. Vivid Seats’ get-in price was just $337.
Just before game time, the cheapest available ticket on StubHub was $405 in a standing-room only section. Tickets in the outfield deck could be purchased for around $420. On SeatGeek, you could buy a ticket in the upper deck on the first-base side for $376.
