The Washington Nationals are facing elimination in the World Series after losing three consecutive games, but ace Stephen Strasburg will be on the mound Tuesday night to try and extend the series.
The Astros can win a second World Series title in three seasons on Tuesday night, and Justin Verlander will get the start for Houston. Verlander has struggled in two previous elimination games this postseason, both in the ALDS and ALCS. His ERA in elimination scenarios is 6.75, and he allowed four earned runs in a Game 2 loss to the Nationals earlier in this series.
