World Series Game 2: Starting lineups for the Nationals and Astros

20-year-old Nationals star Juan Soto powered Washington to a Game 1 win over the Astros at Minute Maid Park on Tuesday night, and the series continues on Wednesday with a must-see matchup of elite starting pitchers. The Astros will turn to ace Justin Verlander, who is 0-2 in his last three postseason starts, while the Nationals will rely on red-hot Stephen Strasburg.

In Strasburg’s last six starts, the Nationals have gone a perfect 6-0, and he has allowed just four earned runs in his last 35 innings pitched. Wednesday’s Game 2 may be a must-win for the Astros – only 10 teams have come back from an 0-2 deficit to win the World Series, the last being the 1996 New York Yankees.
