World Series fan makes awesome home run catch, inexplicably throws his glove on to the field

Joe Buck, like the rest of America, was speechless for a moment.

Why would a fan attending Game 2 of the World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Los Angeles Dodgers, after making a gorgeous catch of a home run, throw his GLOVE and not the ball on to the field?

Was he trying to go viral? Was he just so pumped that he threw with the other hand? Did he get his glove back? (the answer to that one, it appears, is … yes!)

Buck, by the way, had the perfect response before describing the action: “What?”

Here’s the moment that everyone’s buzzing about after Wednesday night:

Amazing. Sometimes, weird things happen. And thanks to Rays star Randy Arozarena, he got his glove back.
