'Tornado' Tony Drago completed a famous 4-3 victory over Mark Davis in the quarter-finals of the 2023 World Senior Snooker Championship yesterday to set up a mouthwatering final against Jimmy White. The pair know each other well, having practiced together for almost 10 years during Snooker's heydey.
But Maltese sensation Drago didn't play his best snooker, losing 4-1 and leaving White to cruise into the Sunday's final. Alfie Burden, who admitted his professional career has not lived up to expectations, completed an emotional 4-1 win over King of The Crucible Stephen Hendry in the quarters, before beating Ben Hancorn 4-1 in the semis.
