A group of foolish thugs ram-raided a popular north Dublin shop this morning but left the scene with absolutely nothing following their botched attempted.
In a case of Ireland's dumbest robbers, the car criminals smashed into the front of the Daybreak store on the Jamestown Road in Finglas North just before 8am.
The idiots caused a bit of damage to the shutters that were blocking the door but messed up in a big way.
After driving into the front of the shop, they still couldn't manage to get in and were forced to abandon their plot as the alarm rang throughout the area.
A Garda manhunt has now been launched to put names and faces behind one of the worst set of wannabe criminals that the capital has seen in recent times.
A spokesman said: "Gardaí in Finglas are investigating an incident of criminal damage which occurred at a retail premises on the Jamestown Road in Dublin at approximately 7.30am on 24 October.
"A vehicle was driven into the front of the premises causing considerable damage.
He added: "No entry was made at the location and no property has been reported as taken.
"No further information is available and investigations are ongoing."
Dublin Live has contacted the shop for further information.
