The world’s tallest man has travelled from Turkey to Russia in his search for a wife willing to bear him a son and a daughter.
Sultan Kosen, 39, is a Turkish farmer of ethnic Kurdish descent who was born in the south-eastern Turkish city of Mardin.
Mr Kosen had a tumour affecting his pituitary gland, which caused him to suffer from gigantism and acromegaly - a condition where the pituitary gland produces too much growth hormone.
Thanks to his impressive height, he holds the Guinness World Record for tallest living man at 251 centimetres (8’3”).
Though Mr Kosen said he eventually got used to being so tall, he admits it has, at times, caused him difficulties and discomfort.
In 2013, he married a 175-centimetre- (5’9”) tall Syrian woman named Merve Dibo, who was 10 years his junior.

In an interview, Mr Kosen had previously spoken about his biggest problem with his wife being communication, as he speaks Turkish, whereas his ex-wife only spoke Arabic.
Despite the communication problem, the marriage lasted several years until the couple recently divorced.
Single again, Kosen jumped on a plane and travelled to Moscow in search of a new bride in early December, having hear that Russian women possess “incredible beauty and a loving soul”.
On the TV show 'Let Them Speak' on TV1 on 20th December, Kosen said he had decided he wanted a Russian bride to bear him a son and a daughter.
“It should be easy. I can provide well and do not need money,” he said.

“I would like to take my wife back to Turkey. I live in a historical place, in the southeast, but quite far from the sea. I heard that Russian women love hot, polite men. It should be easy!”
He added: "A Russian woman in love will adore her man forever."
It is unclear how long Kosen plans to remain in Russia looking for his next bride.
