World's press descends on Moscow

This weekend marks the start of the World Association of Newspapers annual conference in Moscow. The choice of Russia, where media freedom is circumscribed, has proved controversial among many of 1,500 editors, publishers and senior executives from 111 countries who will attend. President Vladimir Putin is to host a Kremlin reception for delegates on Monday. (Via The Moscow Times)
