World's most popular royal baby names revealed as Elizabeth misses top ten spot

Unless you've had your heart set on your favourite baby name for years, you'll likely look to inspiration from a range of places when choosing the perfect moniker, whether it's your favourite TV show, strong family traditions or a much-loved song.

Royal fans will often look to the monarchy for ideas on fitting names for their little bundle of joy. This is particularly prevalent in the UK where names like Harry and Charlotte are common. But the trend is more common globally that you might think as parents all around the world take inspiration from Royal families.

Although the British royal family is unquestionably one of the most renowned in the world, the top five most popular royal baby names aren't inspired by the UK royals. In fact, Elizabeth, the name of the UK's longest reigning monarch, doesn't even feature in the top 10.
