The world’s largest art auction has been launched online to raise money for those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Based in London, Art&Co has £1.65m worth of artwork displayed on its website, from 33 different artists.
Pieces by Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dalí and Jeff Koons are up for auction, as well as work by relatively unknown artists.
All the artwork on offer represents pertinent themes such as health, nature and spirituality.
Funds raised will go to six different charities, with their causes ranging from domestic violence to mental health.
“We don’t heal in isolation but within a community,” said Bundeep Singh Rangar, Art&Co founder.
“Art&Co enables finance and insurance companies to support organisations assisting those suffering from the immediate effects of the coronavirus as well as consequential mental health or domestic violence difficulties.”
