One cinema just a short drive away from Liverpool is claiming to be the world's first dog-friendly venue with dedicated days for canine companions.
The 36-seat mini cinema in Manchester offers their ‘Pawpcorn’ viewing every Monday, allowing dogs and their owners to attend screenings of dog themed films including Pixar's Bolt, A Dog’s Purpose, and the live action remake of Disney’s Lady and the Tramp.
Other doggy screenings coming soon include Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs, Christopher Guest’s Best In Show, and Chris Sanders’ The Call of the Wild.
Taking into consideration dog's sensitive hearing the screenings are played with lower sounds and are better lit in order to ensure the pooches are as comfortable as possible.

Thanks to their recent partnership with premium pet supply story Dog Shop Manchester, owners can now reserve a specially curated hamper worth £25 to be collected upon arrival at the cinema at Ducie Street Warehouse.
Tickets cost £5 per person, with pets going free.
The wider Ducie Street venue, including the aparthotel Native, the restaurant, lounge, and bar, are all dog-friendly, with their Instagram page regularly sharing pictures of their four-legged guests.
Ducie Street Warehouse is located at Ducie Street, M1 2TP and is just an under an hours drive from Liverpool's city centre.
