The world’s first cocktail vending machine is back in Glasgow this Friday... And they'll be dishing out drinks for free.
The nifty contraption is heading to the east end after a tour of the UK just last weekend.
You'll get the perfect Old Fashioned by pulling levers and turning wheels – but what happens inside the machine remains a closely guarded secret.
Made with Woodsman whisky, you can get your own vending machine tipple at Barras Art and Design Centre on Friday between 5pm and 9pm.
Rod Gillies, Head of Innovation at Whyte & Mackay, said: "Everyone loves a good Old Fashioned, and our maple syrup version is a cracker. But what would make it even better is being able to get hold of one wherever you are, on demand. So we’re stripping away the rules and complexity which sometimes surround Scotch and making it quick and simple to get a brilliant drink."

The vending machine demonstrates The Woodsman’s ‘hands on’ approach to innovation. Launching just last year with the aim of giving traditional whisky rules the chop, The Woodsman is matured using a transatlantic mix of freshly-built oak casks from Ohio (giving a hint of vanilla and spice) and ex-Bourbon barrels double-scorched in Scotland (for extra depth, sweetness, and a hint of woodsmoke).
