World's fastest and most expensive supercar spotted on streets of Glasgow

Lucky motor enthusiasts were treated to the rare sight of the world's fastest and most expensive car on the streets of Glasgow.

The Bugatti Chiron, worth a cool £2.3m, was spotted outside the Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel in the city centre by Glasgow Youtuber and vlogger Asad Iqbal.

The car, the only one in Scotland, is officially the world's fastest supercar, after it was recorded reaching a speed of 304 miles per hour on a test circuit in Germany last year.

Featuring an eight-litre turbocharged engine and 1,500-horsepower, it is capable of going from 0-62mph in less than 2.5 seconds, and 124 mph in 6.5 seconds - not that you could ever get away with going at such a speed while popping out for your messages in Glasgow.

The lucky owner of the supercar is believed to be Xcslusive Cars Glasgow.

Just think, for the price of one Bugatti Chiron, you could buy every single person in Glasgow a portion of chips and cheese for their dinner.
