World's End killer Angus Sinclair was cremated today in a secret ceremony.

The body of the serial sex beast - who died two weeks ago - was taken to Falkirk Crematorium by undertakers.

It’s understood a short ceremony took place before the 73-year-old’s body was cremated.

He’d had a series of mini-strokes leading up to his death and demanded not to be resuscitated after months of ill health.

Sinclair was sentenced to 37 years in jail in 2014. The maniac was jailed for four murders but suspected of more.

He was tried twice for the savage killings of Christine Eadie and Helen Scott in what came to be known as the Worlds End murders.

The teenagers, who were both 17, were raped and murdered after a night out at the World’s End pub in Edinburgh in October 1977.

Their bodies were found six miles apart in East Lothian. Both had been gagged, beaten and raped before being strangled.

The judge ruled there was no case to answer.

But after a second trial in 2014 - during which the jury visited the World’s End murder scenes - World's End monster Angus Sinclair killed three more women claims ex-cop who helped snare him was found guilty following the introduction of the Double Jeopardy (Scotland) Act in 2011.

The brute was already serving life sentences when he was convicted.
