The world's best hotel breakfasts have been ranked - and a UK hotel has been crowned the champion.
Foodies can enjoy a budget-friendly staycation if they want to try it for themselves, as the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London hotel has been ranked as offering the best spread for a delicious morning meal.
There's an impressive selection on offer for guests ranging from continental options such as pastries and cereals, to all the cooked favourites you need for a fry-up including eggs, bacon, sausages, and hash browns.
Meanwhile those who want to treat themselves to something extra can also opt for an a la carte menu with dishes such as Eggs Benedict, Eggs Florentine, omelettes, pancakes and waffles.

The Park Plaza was named the world's best hotel breakfast in new rankings from Mornings.co.uk which compared hotels in capital cities. This included analysing which spots had the largest number of positive Tripadvisor reviews where breakfasts were deemed to be either the best, excellent, or great.
Not only did Park Plaza come out as the top London spot, but it had the highest highest number of glowing mentions in the world, based on the data taken in September 2021.
It wasn't the only UK hotel to impress in the overall global rankings.
The Premier Inn London County Hall Hotel took the sixth spot, with the all-you-can-eat cooked breakfast proving a hit with guests. It's budget-friendly too, with an unlimited breakfast on offer from £9.50. For those who prefer lighter options, you can also choose continental options such as fruit, fresh pastries and cereal. There are also 'kids eat free' deals available for families.
Meanwhile the Tower Hotel in London was also unveiled as a must-visit spot for foodies, ranking eighth as guests praised the wide array of options available in the buffet as well as the quality of the food.
