World of Warcraft: Midnight launches on March 2, 2026, at 5pm CT/ 3pm PT / 6pm ET / 11pm GMT. Fortunately, Final Fantasy 14‘s and Elder Scrolls: Online’s next expansions won’t launch in the same period, though there are plenty of big games scheduled to release in February and March, including Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake.

What to expect from World of Warcraft: Midnight?

World of Warcraft: Midnight takes you to the elven kingdom of Quel’thalas, being torn apart by Xal’atath, the Harbinger of the Void, who’s once again seeking the Worldsoul. In addition to continuing the story arc, Midnight introduces four new and reimagined zones for you to explore.

These include the gold-soaked homeland of the Blood Elves–Eversong Woods, the gloomy forests and mountains of Zul’Aman, the swampy home of the haranir–Harandar, and the void-infested Voidstorm.

Completing quests for Haranir will also unlock this race. With Haranir, you can play as Druid, Hunter, Mage, Monk, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, or Warrior. If you play as a Demon Hunter, there’s good news. It’s getting a third specialization, Devourer, which harnesses the Void to unleash unique ranged abilities.

Lastly, in terms of new content, expect several new dungeons and delves, including three new raids–The Voidspire, The Dreamrift, and March on Quel’Danas. These raid dungeons will be available throughout Midnight Season 1.

That’s everything you need to know about World of Warcraft: Midnight.
