World Nutella Day! Sweet treat recipes you can rustle up in a few minutes

Are you bored of eating Nutella on toast?

Maybe sometimes you mix things up by adding a bit of banana?

If it's all getting a bit samey, then today - World Nutella Day - is the perfect excuse to try out some new ways to enjoy the hazelnut spread.

Cinnamon crepes with Nutella, banana and pecans

(Nutella)

Ingredients

100g whole wheat flour

2tsp ground cinnamon

1 large egg

Pinch salt

300ml milk

2 sliced bananas

Handful chopped pecans

60g Nutella

Olive oil spray

Method :

  2.
  3. Heat a little oil in medium frying pan. Pour 2tbsps of batter into the pan, tilting the pan as you pour, so the batter coats the base. Cook over moderate heat until underside is golden brown (approx. 30 – 60 secs).
  4.
  5. Flip the pancake & cook the other side until golden brown, then slide on to a plate. Heat a little more oil to cook the remaining pancakes. When ready to serve, spread a thin layer of Nutella on top of each pancake and top with sliced banana.
  6.

Sunflower oil spray

60g Nutella

125g strawberries, stalks removed and cut into quarters

Icing sugar for dusting (optional)
