World famous data analyst makes Champions League final prediction - Who wins between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur?

Liverpool have a 71 per cent chance of winning the Champions League final.

That's according to Nate Silver's Five Thirty Eight website, who have created a data model to find out which team will win the final in Madrid.

Silver was named one of the world's 100 most influential people after correctly calling the outcomes of the 2008 and 2012 US elections but his background is actually in sports data modelling.

He has now predicted that Liverpool will claim the Champions League following their famous semi-final win over Barcelona.

They have been given a 71 per cent chance of beating Tottenham Hotspur in the final.
