World Cup schedule: How to use your iPhone or Android handset so you can watch every live game

Football fans hoping to catch every live match of this year's football World Cup are in luck, thanks to a number of online resources that let you schedule games right to your iPhone or Android smartphone calendar.

The Fifa 2018 World Cup kicked off on 14 June in Moscow and is set to conclude in the same city on 15 July.

All fixtures for the world cup can be scheduled by importing games to the digital calendar on your smartphone using free software that is readily available online.

All England matches can be imported to iOS or Android calendars using this link, while every single match in the whole tournament can be automatically imported using this link. The same site offers the ability to choose which teams you want – allowing you to add each nation individually, if you'd rather keep your calendar relatively uncluttered.

Those calendars can then be imported relatively simply: either grab the link and add it to your calendar software manually, or click the software you are using and follow the instructions.

Once imported, the iPhone or Android device will send alerts before the match begins.

Football fans can also add the FIFA 2018 World Cup schedule to their Mac or Windows computers using the same method.
