World Cup 2026: Katy Perry and Future to headline US opening ceremony

World Cup United States World Cup 2026

The 2026 World Cup will see three separate opening ceremonies from host nations Mexico , the USA and Canada .
The third and final World Cup opening ceremony is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles , USA.
The event will commence at 12.30am BST Saturday 13 June (4.30pm PDT and 7:30pm EDT on Friday 12 June) at the SoFi Stadium , ahead of the US ’s match with Paraguay.
Pop star Katy Perry is set to headline the ceremony, alongside rapper Future, with other performances from Tyla , Lisa from K-pop band Blackpink , Nigerian artist Rema , and Brazilian singer Anitta .
How to watch: UK viewers can tune in to the festivities live on BBC One, while US fans can watch the event on FOX/FOX One and Canadian viewers on TSN / CTV / Crave.
