World Cup 2026: France aim for third consecutive final against Spain

The French team are taking on Spain in Dallas in the World Cup semi-final. Les Bleus are hoping to become the second nation to reach three consecutive World Cup finals.

Lucas Digne is set to return to Paris Saint-Germain, which he left in 2016. Belgian player Thorgan Hazard has signed a two-season contract with RC Lens. In rugby, France beat New Zealand (26–22) in the semi-final of the U20 World Cup and will face South Africa in the final. Erling Haaland and the Norwegian team have returned home following the World Cup.
