World Cup 2018 - LIVE: England reaction plus latest news, updates and build-up to France vs Croatia final

It's not coming home then.

England are out of the World Cup after a dramatic, heart-rending extra-time defeat to Croatia in Moscow. A wonderful three-week journey to the final four was ended at the penultimate hurdle by Mario Mandzukic's late, late goal leaving a team and a nation back home wondering what might have been. Gareth Southgate's side have inspired supporters far and wide to fall back in love with their football team again but they will head home empty handed but only after Saturday's third place play-off against Belgium.

We will have all the reaction to last night at the Luzhniki from our men on the ground in Russia plus all the build-up to Sunday's World Cup final where France will play last night's victors Croatia.
