World Cup 2010: New Zealand v Slovakia and Ivory Coast v Portugal

footy: footy
For a country with only one professional football team (which plays in the Australian league) and a population of just 4.3 million (most of whom favour rugby), New Zealand's presence at the World Cup finals is about as incongruous as Blackpool's in the Premier League. But hold on, they've only gone a grabbed a point with the last attack of the game! Winston Reid - a former Danish Under-21 player who was born in New Zealand, heads in off the post in the 93rd minute ... Lovely stuff

But Drogba wastes a fantastic chance in the closing stages when he skews a shot across the face of the goal. The match ends 0-0, which hasn't exactly helped the tournament's pitiful goals-to-games ratio
