World Champion Josh Taylor to appear on star studded Soccer AM show

Undisputed world champion, Josh Taylor, is set to appear on Soccer AM tomorrow, Saturday 25, in a star studded show.

The Prestonpans puncher’s expertise has no doubt been called upon in order to discuss the heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk that will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London tomorrow evening.

Taylor is the undisputed Super-Lightweight champion, having held the WBA, IBF, and Ring magazine titles since 2019, and the WBC and WBO titles after defeating José Ramirez in May 2021.

But that is not to say that the boxing champion will struggle to hold his own when discussing football - as his love for the game is evident with his public support for boyhood club Hibernian Football Club.

The East Lothian hero will be appearing alongside Alexandra Burke, the British singer and songwriter who won season five of the X-factor and Michael Dueberry the former Chelsea and St Johnstone player.

The show is hosted by ex-pro and football funny man Jimmy Bullard as well as John Fendley.

This week's show will also see Tubes interview Patrick Viera about his return to the Premier League as manager.

Josh Taylor’s next fight has been set for December 18 in Glasgow where the Tartan Tornado will look to defend his four belts against WBO mandatory challenger, Jack Catterall.

The undefeated Catterrall had previously agreed to step aside to allow the also undefeated Taylor to fight Ramirez - providing he was allowed to face the winner.

Viewers will be able to tune into Soccer AM from 9:30am on Sky Sports PL, Sky Sports Football and Sky Showcase.
