World Book Day: Get your amazing costumes featured on Bristol Live

Like most things over the past year, World Book Day is having to adapt to the unusual circumstances we find ourselves in.

But lockdown doesn't mean our little ones can't still have fun and celebrate the joy of reading.

World Book Day 2021 (March 4) is a chance to encourage reading for fun, whilst giving children and young people from all backgrounds the opportunity to have a book of their own.

And at Bristol Live we want as many people as possible to see the amazing and inventive creations people come up with on the day.

Send in your pictures on the form below and they may well get featured in Bristol Live's Coverage today and may even get a place in the Bristol Post the following day.

Books allow children to explore new worlds, delve into their imaginations and embark upon amazing adventures. Now more than ever, as lockdown continues, books provide an escape from the banality of everyday life.

Throughout the day, World Book Day will be hosting a variety of special virtual live events online for your children to get involved with.

Even though they may be at home this year, we're sure they'll be just as eager to don costumes of their favourite literary characters and show off to their classmates through their virtual classrooms.

So in the great tradition of World Book Day, we want to see all the fantastic, creative, magical, funny, and outright brilliant costumes.

Submit your pictures to be featured in a special InYourArea gallery using the form below. If you're unable to see the form, click here to access it.
