Residents in an East Kilbride street woke up this morning to find multiple cars damaged after an apparent crash.
Locals on Windward Road also saw a company van resting against a hedge at the bottom of the street, having appeared to have smashed through a 'Twenty's Plenty' sign, knocking it to the ground and leaving a trail of chaos in its wake.
The driver of the van appears to have lost control while travelling along the road in the Westwood area of the town, with tyre marks visible on a grass verge.
Pictures show a number of parked cars along the road with damage, thought to be from the incident, which is understood to have happened earlier this morning.
Police were on the scene while investigations were carried out.

Police Scotland have confirmed with Lanarkshire Live that the incident happened around 7.55am this morning with a man being reported to the Procurator Fiscal for road traffic offences.
It is not yet understood whether any arrests have been made, but it is not thought anyone was seriously injured in the crash.

The crashed van shows branding for The Bond Group, a refrigeration firm headquartered in Sheerness, England, but with a Scottish base in Falkirk.

The company have been contacted for comment.
