Works carried out in Dublin to 'enhance pedestrian/cycleway link' from Honeypark, Dun Laoghaire to several areas

Work has gotten underway in a Dublin area to enhance the pedestrian/cycleway experience for locals.

As part of planning permission obligations, Cosgrave Developments will be carrying out works in August to provide connectivity links for cyclists and walkers from Honeypark, Dun Laoghaire to Sefton, Sallynoggin Park and O'Rourke Park/Rollins Villas.

Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council confirmed that once completed, these works would "enhance connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists living near to or within the Honeypark development".

Works on the Sefton Link and Sallynoggin Park Link will take place from 14th to 23rd August.

While the development of the O'Rourke Park/Rollins Villas Link will take place from 26th to 30th August.

The County Council has said that information will be issued to affected residents in these areas by Thursday, August 15.

They added that: "Cosgrave Developments are responsible for liaising with residents within the Honeypark development.

"While the work is being completed by Cosgrave Developments, DLR have being liaising closely with the developer to finalise the arrangements and try and ensure that any disruption or inconvenience to residents and the public is kept to a minimum."

Anyone with queries about the works are being advised to contact dlr Customer Services Hub at info@dlrcoco.ie or phone them on 01 2054700.
