Workouts at home - get in shape with this simple bodyweight circuit

Here's another simple home workout to try out.

Many of us are trying to stay fit and healthy during the coronavirus pandemic.

Home workouts are the new fitness trend as we stay indoors to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Belfast personal trainer James Higgins who runs the Hi-Performance Training Centre has come up with this simple yet effective fat-burning bodyweight workout.

And you can do this easily in your home.

James says: "This is a pretty basic workout that will be accessible to most people. The focus is going to be on your legs and your core.

"This is a good workout for your home. We are pretty limited to what we can do at present, but there is no reason why you can't workout at home."

Bodyweight circuit

5 exercises

  1. Star Jumps
  2. Half Jacks
  3. Bodyweight Squat
  4. Reverse Lunge
  5. Plank

How to do them

James says: "I like to do these to timed sets, so depending on your fitness levels you might want to do 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off. You can download a timer app and set it for 30 rounds which would be a quick 30-minute workout."
