Worker at Disneyland Paris tests positive for coronavirus

Disneyland Paris has confirmed that one of its staff has tested positive for coronavirus .

However, despite a maintenance worker at the world famous French family resort having been diagnosed over the weekend, the park's bosses say it will remain open to visitors.

A spokesperson for Disneyland Paris said that the worker affected has not been in contact with guests, and it's thought that staff are now checking on colleagues who have associated with the worker in question.

Three of Disney's other theme parks have already closed - Shanghai Disney, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Tokyo Disneyland.

Public Health Wales confirmed one patient is a resident in Neath Port Talbot and has recently returned from southern Italy.

The second patient is a resident in the Newport local authority area and has recently returned from northern Italy.

Both patients are being managed in "clinically-appropriate settings".
