Work begins on new homes

The private housing division of one of a leading building firm has started work on the site of its first development.

JR Homes, part of The JR Group, is now bringing Almondvale Gardens in Blackburn to life with construction underway on its exclusive collection of seven homes.

The contemporary collection of three and four-bedroom homes are being built and as work on site gathers pace, just four homes remain which are being marketed via selling agent Rettie & Co.

The first homes will be ready for handover in January 2023.

The properties promise perfect proportions throughout, with large windows welcoming in natural light, giving each room an airy atmosphere and a true sense of space.

The open plan living, kitchen and dining area is perfect for entertaining, with bi-fold doors leading out to the large private garden to the rear of the property.

Upstairs, spacious contemporary bedrooms make these homes ideal for versatile family living, with the opportunity of utilising spare bedrooms for home working space.

Modern bathrooms, with high-quality fixtures and finishes, add to the grandeur, with en-suites included in the main bedroom.

All properties are sold with a third party warranty, providing peace of mind for years to come.

Andrew Dallas, projects director for the group said: “To see our first private homes development underway with properties selling is a real milestone for JR Homes, and we’re thrilled to be on-site.

“It’s a proud moment to be bringing our first development to life, using our decades of homebuilding knowledge and experience to produce a collection that goes above and beyond a ‘standard’ housing product.

“We’re confident those who have reserved the first homes – and those set to choose JR Homes in future – will be impressed with the high specification finish, space and scope for personalisation. We’re looking forward to working with each buyer to create their dream home now that we’re on site.”
