Woolworths Calwell recalls bread over possible glass contamination

Woolworths is recalling all instore-made bread sold at its Calwell supermarket on Wednesday, November 4 due to concerns it may contain glass.

Customers are advised not to consume any instore-made bread, whether rolls or loaves, that they purchased from the store on that day, and to instead return the bread to the store for a full refund.

Any customers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

Woolworths released a statement on Thursday apologising for the inconvenience and saying the company takes product safety seriously.

Customers can call Woolworths' toll-free customer service number for more information on 1800 103 515.
