A teenager has been charged with murdering a young man who was fatally stabbed in south-east London.

Shackim Taylor, of Gunyard Mews, Greenwich, was arrested on Sunday and charged with murder in the early hours of Tuesday.

Scotland Yard said Taylor, 19, has also been charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.

Officers were called to reports of a stabbing in Tellson Avenue, Kidbrooke, at 2.40pm on Wednesday July 10.

The 22-year-old victim, who has not yet been identified by police, was found suffering a number of stab wounds.

He was taken to a south London hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead at 8.35pm.
