Woolfe brings West End to awards party

Sky One controller Richard Woolfe was on ebullient form when he collected the entertainment channel of the year gong at Broadcast magazine's digital channel awards in London last night. The Woolfster, never one to shy away from a celebration, carried on the party at The Hospital private members' club in Covent Garden, but somehow managed to disappear for a good half hour. Perplexed members of his team were just about to start worrying when he suddenly re-appeared with half the cast of the West End musical Hairspray. Well, Johnnie Fiori who plays Motormouth Maybelle, anyway. Sky One is of course the home of new reality show Hairspray: The School Musical. Always the showman, Monkey looks forward to seeing Woolfe appear at his next season launch as Edna Turnblad.
