Woodstock-like festival comes to the River Kwai

Live Nation Tero is holding the first-ever international music festival on the banks of River Kwai in Kanchanaburi on Nov 12 and 13.

Titled "River Fest Music Festival", the two-day concert will see more than 30 Thai and international artists perform great music on two stages at Chuen Rudee Land, a 40-acre campsite renowned for its beautiful natural surroundings.

The first day's line-up on the Main Wave Stage features Honne, Slot Machine, Zion T, Eric Nam, Twopee Southside, Saran & Dieout, Better Weather, Anna, Electric Neon Lamp and The Young Wolf. The Ripple Stage will highlight Luss, Andy Tubman, Anna featuring Yayee, Valentina Poly, Take Away and Fine Find Beat.

Taking to the Main Wave Stage on Nov 13 will be Ruel, Sam Kim, 10CM, Zom Marie, Gentle Bones, Whal & Dolph, Jeff Sater, Dept, Serious Bacon and Landokmai. The Ripple Stage will feature Thuy, Jack Garratt, Primprao, Gabe, Re-Hear Experience and Mercury Goldfish.

Besides the fantastic live music, the festival will present many activities for everyone's enjoyment including a funky photo corner for stylish online check-ins, and a wide variety of delicious food and drink.

Tickets cost 1,800 baht for one day and 3,400 baht for two days and can be purchased from nine stand-alone Thai Ticket Major outlets or via thaiticketmajor.com (call 02-262-3838). Tickets at the door cost 2,200 baht per day.
