
Two people were robbed on the same block in Woodlawn after agreeing to meet someone through an online marketplace.
The robberies happened about 6:20 p.m. Jan. 3 and 9:40 a.m. Jan 13 in the 6600 block of South Greenwood Avenue, Chicago police said.
In both incidents, the victim was robbed after agreeing to meet someone to buy property through an online marketplace, police said. When they arrived, the robber implied he had a gun and demanded their property.
Police described the suspect as a man in his 20s between 6-foot-1 and 6-foot 3 and weighing between 140 and 150 pounds.
