Police have locked down an area near to Hamilton town centre as they attend an ongoing major incident.
Images supplied to the Daily Record show officers in attendance, a cordon erected and a main road closed.
Officers have also shut nearby Cadzow Street and can be seen guarding the area.
Emergency services are still in attendance at the scene.

The nature of the incident is not clear, and it is not known if there have been any injuries or casualties.
Police Scotland said: "Officers are currently in attendance at Cadzow glen Hamilton. Enquiries are ongoing."
