About 20,000 flowering Japanese azalea bushes are seen in full bloom at Mimuroto Temple in Uji, Kyoto. The flowers blossomed about 10 days earlier than usual this year. Mimuroto Temple used a drone to take a video of the bushes and uploaded it to their website. "Due to the pandemic, not many people can see the flowers in person," said the temple's chief priest. "I hope people can still enjoy them by watching the video." The temple grounds are open to visitors until May 16.
