For the second year running, Brisbane Powerhouse’s Wonderland festival presents a cavalcade of burlesque, circus, music, comedy, poetry and theatre performance. This summer, night food markets are open to visitors and the Bamboozled tents showcase circus, vaudeville and mime acts.

Moira Finucane and Jackie Smith’s Glory Box, which debuted last year, is the headline show. The rock star comedy duo Die Roten Punkte bring a new show Kunst Rock (Art Rock) to the festival in the style of The White Stripes gone wrong.

Local theatre maker Dan Evans presents his I Want To Know What Love Is, a tale based on more than 800 anonymous stories of love and lust, and musical theatre hit Songs for the Fallen is also on the bill.
