Wonderkid joins in as Dean Henderson celebrates: Things we spotted in Manchester United training

Manchester United are putting the finishing touches to their preparation ahead of facing West Brom on Sunday.

The Reds are looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League following last weekend's dramatic draw with Everton.

There were some talking points from training ahead of the game, with spirits seemingly high in the United camp as they look to try and close the gap on league leaders Man City.

Here are the notable things we spotted in United's training session.

Shoretire involved

After signing his first professional deal with United, Shola Shoretire has been included in the Reds' first-team training bubble.

That means the 17-year-old took part in training ahead of this weekend's game, although he is not expected to be involved.

The forward is still expected to feature for United's under-23s on Friday evening against Arsenal. Interestingly, since he is now a part of the first-team training bubble, he cannot share same changing room as his teammates at youth level on matchday.

Yet his step up to first-team training at such a young age shows how highly United's management rate Shoretire, and he can be seen taking part in a drill with Axel Tuanzebe before taking on fellow under-23s player Amad.

Henderson celebrates

United's goalkeepers took part in a tennis-style drill that sees them hitting a small ball back and forth over a net.

Dean Henderson can be seen stood next to Nathan Bishop in the drill, with the duo laughing at an incident that has happened off-camera.

At one point, Bishop gets on his knees to punch a ball over the net in a game that seems to test goalkeepers' reflexes and agility.

It appears that Henderson won the drill, as he is pictured arms aloft in an exuberant celebration.

With players having big smiles on their face during the exercise, it shows that spirits are high in the United camp ahead of this weekend.
