Pedro Virginia has swapped Arsenal for FC Porto.
The young goalkeeper, brother of former Gunners wonderkid Joao, was among a crop of stoppers coming through the ranks at the Emirates Stadium.
This list includes the likes of Karl Hein, James Hillson and Tom Smith.
However, while the aforementioned trio are set to battle it out for a place in the U23 side next season, Virginia has opted to leave in order to further his development.
The teenager has taken to social media and confirmed he's returning to Portugal to play for Porto.
"Work, evolution, reaching the first team and being champion for this great club is what I most aspire to," he wrote on Instagram. "Thank you @fcporto for receiving me very well."
Virginia isn't the only Arsenal youngster who won't be at the club when the 2020/21 season gets underway.
Last week, Alfie Matthews suggested hiis long-term future does not necessarily lie in north London.
The teenager posted an image on his Instagram Story of him taking looking down at his boots, writing the caption: "Another good session today! We keep pushing towards this big move."
A short time later, the young striker posted another cryptic message about his future.
"These running sessions are not what I want! But we push towards this big move," the caption read, which implies could be set to seal a departure from the Emirates Stadium in a bid to pursue his football career elsewhere.
It is believed that Newcastle United are showing an interest in signing Matthews and want to add him to their youth ranks at St James' Park.
