The West Kirk of Calder in West Calder had a wonderful sunny day for their recent garden fete and fringe in the grounds of the church.
The event was officially opened by The Lord-Lieutenant Moira Niven MBE.
With a great selection of freshly-prepared food and locally produced crafts for sale it was a wonderful event.
A wide selection of traditional games were there for all to try out their skills as well as the Police Scotland Youth Volunteers, Royal Artillery and local football club with beat the goalie. Locals, whilst sitting on straw bales enjoying the sunshine were entertained by some of the best young musicians in West Lothian.
Rev Dr Jonanda Groenewald said: “Our most sincere thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this event such huge success for our village and parish church”.
