This is the heartwarming moment a 74-year-old man with dementia was reunited with his mum after he mistakenly thought she had died.
Nigel Beattie, from Wrexham, Wales, can be smiling in the snap as his 97-year-old mum Myra Beattie beams back at him through the window.
Mr Beattie's wife decided to take him to the home his mum is staying at after he told her she had passed away while looking at some photographs.
Joanne Beattie told Mirror Online: "After looking at photos of his mum he said 'she’s dead' - he has Lewy body dementia.
"So I took him to the home his mum is in to see her, they were both thrilled to see each other."

The wonderful photograph went viral online with many describing how it had lifted their spirits during the coronavirus crisis.
Some said the 'beautiful' photograph had melted their heart.
One user wrote: "Just being able to see each means so much I know."
Another added: "Hopefully all this will be over soon and you can be together again in the house."
Others encouraged Joanne to send the picture to Kate Middleton for her lockdown photography project.
The Duchess of Cambridge is asking people to share their photographs which capture the nation's mood during the crisis.
She has launched the scheme in partnership with the National Portrait Gallery, which she is a patron of.
Pictures will be assessed on the emotion and experience they convey instead of the quality of the picture.
