This is the wonderful moment a violinist starts playing 'Somewhere over the Rainbow' in the street in south London as the nation applauded frontline workers battling coronavirus.
As Brits cheered and saluted frontline workers during the Clap for Carers campaign at 8pm on Thursday, Jimmy Van Lin got out his violin in Purley to offer his own musical tribute.
In a video shared on Facebook, Mr Van Lin starts playing the classic song from the Wizard of Oz.
As he finishes, applause can be heard echoing through the surrounding buildings.
After finishing his performance, Mr Van Lin said: "Thank you NHS. Thank you for everything you do for us.
"Thank you for all the key workers. Thank you for all the carers. Thank you for all the social workers. Thank you for everyone on the frontline and for everyone who is helping with the pandemic.
"And thank you for everyone who trying their best, staying at home, keeping safe and everyone positive. Much love to you all and God bless."

His choice of song comes as rainbows emerge as an iconic image in the nation's battle against Covid-19, with children hanging their colourful drawings in windows and on doors in their homes.
