Wonder is just like the book itself, pretty much a wonder. It left me in great astonishment and awe. I was in a stupefied moment as soon as I finished reading Wonder. I never thought that there'd be a book like this out somewhere spreading its magic and touching people and make them realise that it's time, it's time for us to make this kindness, the kindness Auggie is giving to everyone, no matter where we are, what situation we are in and whose people we are with. As it says in the book:
"Mr. Browne's September Precept: When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind."
I think it is a great quote I've stumbled upon while reading the book, a really great one. Usually I find books that contains bullying stories and the like, a style that is very much used up or rather a common technique in writing, but this one, this book is a rare one. In fact, it isn't like those any other books that tries to pursue something that readers can't find very well in their writing. What I just found in this book is the uniqueness it gives out to readers.
I can't very much sum up what a great feeling it is after reading the book because for all I know words can't really describe what you're really feeling deep inside about a thing but this I know won't be something you'd be disappointed in spending your time to read with and pour your hearts into.
I'm not going to sum up the book's story like some other readers did but I'm going to tell you one thing about the book: it finds the kindness in your heart.
