The title sums up the book itself, it's pretty much a wonder. It left me in great astonishment and awe. I was stupefied the moment I finished reading Wonder. I never thought that there'd be a book like this out there spreading its magic and touching people, making them realize that it's time, it's time for us to be kind and give the kindness Auggie is giving to everyone, no matter where we are, what situation we are in and who we are with. As it says in the book,
'When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind.'
I think it is a great quote I've stumbled upon whilst reading the book, a really great one. Usually I find books that contain bullying stories and the like, a style that is very much overused as a common technique in writing. But this one, this book is a rare one. In fact, it isn't like those any other books that tries to pursue something that readers can't find very well in the writing. What I found special in this book is the uniqueness it gives out to readers.
I can't sum up well what a great feeling you get after reading the book because for all I know, words can't really describe what you're really feeling deep inside. I know this won't be something you'd be disappointed in taking the time to read and pour your heart into.
I'm not going to sum up the storyline like some other readers did, but I am going to tell you one thing about the book: it finds the kindness in your heart.
