A 21-year-old woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run Tuesday evening in Lake View on the North Side.
About 6:10 p.m., the woman was attempting to cross the intersection of Addison Street and Janssen Avenue when a Hyundai Elentra ran through and struck her, Chicago police said.
The woman was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in serious condition while the Hyundai fled the scene, according to police.
No one is in custody, police said.
