Phil Neville has confirmed that he will take charge of Great Britain's women's footballers at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
Team GB qualified for next summer's Games on Friday night, following France's quarter-final defeat by the United States at the Women's World Cup.
That result confirmed semi-finalists England as one of the three best European teams at the tournament and earned an Olympic berth in the process.
Team GB will be able to include players from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, though only England's progress at this World Cup counted towards Olympic qualification.
And the team is set to be led by Neville, who is looking forward to the opportunity of competing at an Olympic Games.
“I will be the coach that takes the team to the Olympics," he confirmed.
“I have not thought about it but obviously when the USA won last night, it confirmed our place in Tokyo and it is exciting.
"Seven out of the eight teams in the quarter-finals were from Europe and qualifying for the Olympics was one of the targets I had.”
Before Tokyo next year, Neville and his England players have a World Cup semi-final to contend with against the US in Lyon on Tuesday night.
