Women's Irish Cup 2021: Cliftonville to take on Linfield in second-round clash

The draw for the second-round of the Women's Irish Cup took place at Windsor Park this afternoon.

In what is undoubtedly the tie of the round, Cliftonville will take on their Belfast rivals, Linfield.

The Blues suffered a shocking 6-0 league defeat at the hands of Sion Swifts on Sunday.

Holders Glentoran will host Derry City at home in what is the second all-Premiership tie in the round.

Due to Covid restrictions there was no Irish Cup last season, with the Glens holding on to the trophy from 2019.

Crusaders Strikers will travel to East Belfast Ladies and Linfield slayers Sion Swifts take on Killen Rangers Ladies away from home.

There will be a big local derby when Lisburn Ladies come up against Lisburn Rangers Ladies.

In the other second-round matches St James' Swifts Ladies welcome Crewe United Ladies, Carnmoney Ladies will host Camlough Rovers Ladies and Mid Ulster Ladies will play Belfast Celtic Ladies.
